In diesem Buch werde ich einen solchen theoretischen Rahmen aufzeigen und mich dann anhand exemplarischer Fallbeispiele15 mit dem Phänomen der Basis-Emotionen Liebe, Angst, Trauer, Hass und Verzweiflung in Bezug auf ihre sprachliche Kodierung in Texten beschäftigen. Linguistisch interessant ist hierbei zum einen die Frage nach dem Zusammenhang zwischen bestimmten emotionalen Kategorien und den typischen Formen oder Mustern ihrer Versprachlichung. Im folgenden Kapitel skizziere ich zuerst den sprachtheoretischen Rahmen, der den Hintergrund für die weiteren Analysen darstellt.
