One day when I was walking through the neighborhood with some of the girls' friends, we met the absent girl on the street. Her friends asked her where she had been and said, "Oh, you're gonna be in trouble when your mother finds out you haven't been in school. Mr. " The girl told us that she had married her boyfriend and that she was going to have a baby. She said that the husband was nineteen years old and had a job, and he made her stay home all day. " A few days later, some of the same girls from the classroom and two other girls were sitting in the school lunchroom.
