In any case, if making side is euchred, opponents win 2 points. 31 Four-hand Euchre is usually played for a game of 5 points, but this is sometimes increased by agreement to 7 or 10. IRREGULARITIES. Misdeal There may be a new deal by the same dealer if a card is exposed in dealing; a card is faced in the pack; or if the pack is found imperfect. When a pack is found imperfect, previous scores stand. A deal by the wrong player may be stopped before a card is turned up; if the error is not noticed until later, the deal stands.
The joker is the highest trump; the second is the jack of the trump suit (right bower); the third is the jack of the other suit of same color as the trump (left bower). The other trumps are: A (fourth-best), K, Q. 10, 9. In plain suits the rank is: A (high), K, Q, J, 10, 9. PRELIM[NARIES. Cards are drawn; lowest card has choice of seats and deals first. In drawing, all suits rank ace high. If equal cards are drawn for low, the tying players must draw again. Dealer shuffles last, and the pack is cut by the player at his right.
AUCTION EUCHRE PLAYERS. Five, six or seven. The same rules can be adapted, if desired, to any lower number of players. CARDS. For five-hand, use the pack of 32 cards; six-hand, use 36 cards (adding the sixes); seven-hand, use full pack of 52. The joker may be added, if desired; it ranks as the highest trump, over the right bower. PRELIMINARIES. All participants draw cards from a spread pack. Lowest card has first deal and choice of seats. Next· lowest sits at his left, and so on around the table.
